J IS FOR JUMP
Find why we love to jump into tricky, multy-layered operations
Courage means making decisions that go against your gut and turn out to be the right ones.
Those who jump into the deep end dive into a sea of opportunities. This saying describes how we work with our customers. There are many kinds of leaps: taking the plunge, skydiving, jumping off a high cliff, and leaping over an obstacle. At some point, each of our clients finds themselves at one of these literal or figurative thresholds: on the edge of a pool, in the open doorway of an airplane, or facing an obstacle. The moment before the jump is what matters, not the jump itself. Jumping means relinquishing control to some extent and trusting that you’ll land safely. This requires courage, which is precisely what companies need when they begin to fundamentally transform their decision-making processes.
We guide them through this process as experienced jump coaches.
Our systems mean change, both technological and organizational. Anyone who has spent hours on complex planning in sprawling Excel spreadsheets will be skeptical of software that can calculate a better result in seconds for something that previously took hours or days. We are familiar with this skepticism; it has been with us for decades.
A typical example from that time: Two departments plan their transports independently of each other. They make decisions that make sense locally and end up driving the same route twice. Our software bundles such orders, re-prioritizes them, and proposes a solution that is better for the overall system. Initially, this seems illogical to individual departments. For the company, however, it is clearly advantageous.
Today, the context has changed. With the development of AI, skepticism toward such systems has diminished. However, the real challenge remains: the organizational leap. Established processes must be questioned, responsibilities must be redistributed, and silo thinking must be broken down.
And that’s where we come in, with experience, with technology, and above all, with people who genuinely are curious, enthusiastic, and just crazy enough to jump into customers’ tricky, multi-layered, complicated operations. So, are you ready to jump into our world of optimization?

Over 2,000 companies worldwide have taken that leap with us and landed safely.

J IS ALSO FOR JUST-IN-TIME
“I’ll be there in five minutes.” A sentence that tends to be a little optimistic in everyday life. There is always something in the way: traffic, delays, a forgotten message, or an unexpected detour. In modern production and supply chains, that is exactly where the real challenge begins.
Just in Time means that materials arrive exactly when they are needed. Not earlier, not later. It reduces inventory costs, avoids waste, and makes processes more efficient. At the same time, even small disruptions can throw entire operations off balance. That is exactly why we enjoy working on Just in Time at INFORM. There is hardly anything more fascinating than keeping complex processes stable, synchronized, and reliable under uncertain conditions. Our systems detect disruptions early, calculate alternatives, and help companies stay capable of acting at exactly the right moment.
Or to put it another way: we help turn “I’ll be there in five minutes” into something people can actually rely on.
