Since our founding more than 50 years ago, we have thrived in complex environments. That's where intelligent decisions are needed. That's the best way to master complexity. We can't and don't want to do anything else.

But what kind of complexity are we interested in? Let's use an example. Imagine that you own a small manufacturing business. You have three machines in your factory. Whether by chance or good marketing, you have three production orders with promised delivery dates. All of your machines operate at different speeds. How do you distribute the orders among the machines so that everything is finished on time? For three machines and three orders, there are six possible combinations. You don't need to ask us; you can figure that out yourself. However, if you expand and suddenly have ten orders to distribute among ten machines, you'd better give us a call. There are 3.6 million possibilities then. One person could never determine the best one.
However, our AI-based systems can. Even in more complex environments. For example, automotive groups such as VW carry out 100,000 internal transport operations every day in a single production plant. The number of possible sequences exceeds the number of known atoms in the universe! No problem for our software! In a matter of seconds, it analyzes large amounts of data containing knowledge of all operational processes, calculates numerous decision variants, and suggests the optimal solution to the user.

We're all about combining a high level of professional expertise with a relaxed internal atmosphere. Why is this important to us? Software development is more than just the right sequence of zeros and ones to us. We create our software by listening, asking questions, and understanding! First, we develop creative ideas, and then we develop the software. That is teamwork. In addition to technical qualifications, it is essential that our colleagues are good listeners. Our project managers must first understand the customer’s needs. After all, the software must ultimately know everything so that it can intelligently control everything.
To achieve this, we require our employees to demonstrate flexibility in their thinking and actions. Logically, then, our employees also expect flexibility from us as an employer. That is why we are establishing a corporate culture that allows for the greatest possible freedom. We foster trusting collaboration through flat hierarchies, an “open-door” policy, and time sheets based on trust, among other things. Remote work, flexible work hours, and flexible break times are standard practice, and sabbatical years are negotiated as a matter of course. Parents can focus entirely on their work knowing their children are well cared for in our on-site daycare centers.
